Privacy

Short, because there is not much to describe. Last updated September 2, 2026.

The short version

We use one analytics tool to understand which pages people read and where they give up. We do not sell anything to anyone, we do not run advertising trackers, and we do not put you into an automated follow-up sequence. Everything you write to us is read by a person.

Analytics

This site uses PostHog to measure how it is used — which pages are visited, which links get clicked, and where people stop. This is how we work out which pages are useful and which are not.

It is served from this domain rather than PostHog’s, at yourcodecare.com/s/. That is not an attempt to slip past your blocker: we publish the path so you can block exactly that and nothing else. Serving it ourselves means the page does not depend on another company’s server being reachable, and it lets us keep every other outside origin out of this site’s security policy.

What that involves:

  • Page views, clicks and form submissions, with the page they happened on.
  • Your approximate location from your IP address — country and region, not an address.
  • Your browser, device type and screen size.
  • An identifier stored in your browser so repeat visits can be recognised as the same session.
  • A replay of the page as you saw it, described below.

What it does not involve:

  • No advertising trackers and no sharing with ad networks.
  • No selling or renting of any information, to anyone, for any purpose.
  • No profile is built for you unless you contact us and give us your details.

Analytics loads only after the page is usable, so it never delays what you came to read.

Session replay

We record how the page behaved while you were on it — what was on screen, where you scrolled, what you clicked, and where the layout got in your way. Played back, it looks like a video of the page. It is not a video: it is a list of changes to the page, redrawn afterwards in a browser.

We use it for one thing. When someone starts the form and abandons it, or a button does nothing, the replay is how we find out why. Nothing on this site tells us that otherwise.

Everything you type is masked before it leaves your browser. Every input and text box on this site — your web address, your description of the problem, your name and email — is replaced with blocks at the point of capture. The text never reaches PostHog and we cannot recover it from a replay. What you send us in the form arrives separately, by the route described below, because you pressed Send it.

Recording obeys the same switches as the rest of analytics: Global Privacy Control stops it before it starts, and blocking yourcodecare.com/s/ stops it too. Replays are kept for one month and then deleted.

Opting out

We honour Global Privacy Control. If your browser or an extension sends that signal, analytics is never loaded at all — nothing to switch off, because nothing starts.

Do Not Track: browsers send this header inconsistently and it was never given an agreed meaning, so we do not rely on it. Use Global Privacy Control instead, or write to us and we will exclude you.

You can also block analytics with any content blocker — block the path yourcodecare.com/s/. Nothing on this site breaks if you do; the pages, the forms work without it.

The contact form

When you submit the form, we receive what you typed: your web address, your description of the problem, and your name and email. That information is used for one purpose — replying to you.

It is stored in two places:

  • An email inbox we control.
  • Our customer record system, so that a conversation is not lost.

It is not sold, not shared with advertisers, and not added to a mailing list. There is no automated follow-up sequence. If you do not reply, you do not hear from us again.

Spam protection

Both forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a submission comes from a person rather than a script. It is used instead of the common alternatives specifically because it does not track you across other websites.

Server logs

Our host records standard request information — IP address, time, page requested — for security and reliability. These are retained briefly and are not used to build a profile of you.

Who else sees your information

  • Cloudflare — hosting, and the spam check on our forms.
  • PostHog — the analytics described above.
  • HubSpot — our customer record system, for enquiries only.
  • Resend — delivers the enquiry to our inbox.

Each of them processes this on our instructions. None of them is permitted to use it for their own purposes, and we do not sell or share your information for advertising.

How long we keep things

  • Analytics: retained by PostHog under our account settings, currently 12 months.
  • Session replays: one month, then deleted.
  • Enquiries: kept while we are in contact and afterwards as a business record, unless you ask us to delete them.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, or ask for a copy. Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other states with comprehensive privacy laws additionally have the right to opt out of sale or sharing — we do not sell or share, so there is nothing to opt out of, but the request is honoured all the same.

Write to hello@yourcodecare.com. We reply within one business day and act within 45 days. We will not charge you or treat you differently for asking.

We do not knowingly collect anything from children under 16.

Changes

If this page changes materially, the date at the top changes with it.
